Very friendly and helpful. I forgot my drinking water bottle behind, called them once we got home. They cheerfully found it and has set it aside for me. Awesome breakfast too.😊

The food here is local and absolutely delicious. Staff is very friendly. For local eggs and such the prices are excellent! Everything on the menu is under 9$ and some of the best quality in town. So glad to have found this beautiful gem. The cafe is beautifully decorated with local art for sale and really adds local flavor to the town. Thank you for an amazing breakfast salad!

Good interesting nourishment

My go-to breakfast place in Peterborough. I was worried when the place changed hands a few years back and long-cherished customs disappeared, but they've forged new ones, and I'm as fond as ever. The coffee is as good or better as it ever was. And they do great things with a bagel.

Soups, salads, and sandwiches. Good for coffee or a quick bite to eat.

Amazing coffee, good food, slow service

The menu is very good across the board, great sandwiches, great pastries, amazing soups. The coffee is without a doubt the best in town. There is limited seating, but in the spring/summer/fall there is also a patio available, to sit and people watch. The employees are all professional and quick. Wait time is only limited by the space in the kitchen. Plus it is located the Toadstool Bookshop (which is also a great business) and right next door is 12 pine (which is vastly inferior in almost every way to Aesops... seriously, dont bother)

It's a bookstore! It's a cafe! It's a caterer! It's all of the above! It's also eclectic, fun and pretty tasty. Mostly family oriented with a dash of happy tourist.

Very interesting found out a lot of things about how life was years ago. Had some samples of food they would have had at a wedding during that time period. Saw how they prepared the food.

First visit and will be back. Friendly employees and yummy foods. Bagels are from another local business and amazing dairy free egg sliders. Scone and cookie were to die for and locally brewed coffee too.

Egg was not cooked thoroughly and I specifically asked for it to be well cooked.

A Charming Cafe located within the local Toadstool bookstore, which is a destination in itself.

This place is a little gem in town. Right inside the bookstore, they run great food specials daily. There are always vegetarian options too. I have picky kids in my house, so they usually choose a baked good option instead of lunch. Coffee is really good. The seating area is quite small inside, so head outside if the weather is nice or take it to go.

Had a yummy house salad with fresh roast turkey for lunch today. So so fresh and colorful. Cormac working the front was so so sweet and helpful on what to order!

New Englander toasted sandwich was delicious. The miso noodles were good but missing something. Lovely bookshop to browse around.

Best scones ever!!!

Always good, and they made great custom order cakes too!
